We have been on several small group tours and have always enjoyed them. We have explored parts of the world less travelled by most, including Cuba and Mexico as well as Southern African Game Parks and the wonders of South America. Who can forget Iguassu Falls and Macchu Picu?

As well as the wonders the countries have to offer we have stayed in delightful accommodation, which was special to each location and in just in the right spot to enjoy and make the most of our time. Our trips have always been well researched which takes all the hassle out of travelling. All that is left is to enjoy and because they are always in a group of 10 to 15 like-minded travellers, whom we have met beforehand, our holiday has always been special.

My friends and I took the trip to South America in 2011. Starting from Buenos Aires we travelled to Iguassu Falls, Rio, then 11 days in Peru including three days in the Amazon Jungle, then on to Santiago for the homeward flight. It was the best organised trip I have ever experienced. Every base was covered and we recognised Sue Kuti's touch on many aspects of the trip, especially the quality and locations of the accommodation and the quality of the local guides.

The highlight for me was Iguassu Falls. The accommodation at the Das Cataratas Hotel was superb and our guide was accommodating and enthusiastic, which added to the already amazing experience of seeing the falls from both sides as well as from underneath.

I have had the pleasure of booking and travelling with Sue Kuti from Small Group travel for a wonderful trip to Egypt/Jordan in 2010. Attention to detail is one feature of Sue's organization that ensures that overseas travel is both efficient and hassle free for her clients. Another aspect we particularly appreciated was Sue's organization of a pre and post tour get-together with fellow travelers. This year the pre-tour meeting was at a Peruvian restaurant in Sydney's east. Meeting up with the rest of the group before going on the actual trip was excellent for group dynamics and ensured that we all felt relaxed in each other's company from the very beginning of the trip. Similarly, her organization of a follow-up night about a month after our trip was a great opportunity to share photos and videos and renew friendships.

On a similar note, prior to the South American trip, Sue provided extensive information and tips about the places we would visit – small things such as good places to shop, good restaurants, "must see" places – all these tips made our trip all that more enjoyable and certainly made us feel that we had value for money
